“The house was cute and very well stocked with everything we needed. The hot tub was great after hiking and the game room in the basement was a nice way to spend the evenings. The house was an easy 10 min drive to the town of Harpers Ferry and the hiking trails. The owners were quick to respond to any texts. Will definitely recommend. ”

“Just an overnight stay. On our way back home from northern New York. The place was nice. It is peaceful sitting on the deck. The check in process was a little tedious with various emails and downloads required. The Backstep is a little sketchy. Be careful walking in. Overall the place was nice”

“We were able to check in early for a small fee. The location was nestled in a quiet, wooded, mountaintop neighborhood, not secluded (if that’s what you’re looking for). Furnishings were simple and modern, and could accommodate a group easily. One thing missing was privacy blinds/curtains for the main living area, which has a sliding glass door right onto the road. It feels a little exposed at night without a way to close the curtains.”

“We booked this so that we could run around for a few days in Berkeley springs (15-20 mins away) and the surrounding areas. We even went down to Winchester va (50 mins) which isn’t far away. House is really cute. Was very comfortable. The stream and waterfall in backyard were very impressive. The owners were great and very responsive. Highly recommend you stay here. Kids loved it. ”

“We very much enjoyed our stay at this cabin, especially the homey living room with the big fireplace. We also really appreciated that the dining table was large enough to seat all 7 of us comfortably, and that the beds all had nice foam mattresses on them and plenty of pillows. Beds are always a gamble in a vacation rental, but very important to a group of friends in their 30s, so we were delighted that they were comfortable, not squeaky, not wiggly, etc! “Nothing but good things here! Out in the woods but close to everything Berkeley Springs has to offer ! “We really enjoyed staying at this cabin. It was very clean and everything we needed was there for us. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub right there on the deck. It was beautiful. Sitting out in the morning on the deck and watching golfers come by. The beds were very comfortable and our host was very responsive to any questions that came up. “We were a multi-generation family celebrating birthdays and a 60th wedding anniversary over the long Easter weekend. The house was beautiful and the location was very peaceful. Although the house is modern in style, it is also very comfortable. There was plenty of room for the various family groups to spread out. We loved all of the extras that were included - kayaks, paddle boards, life vests, firewood and starter toiletries and coffee. The host was very responsive and easy to work with.……
