“This is one of the cleanest, most well maintained properties I have ever stayed in! This chalet was the perfect size for our family and the loft was great for our kids. Do not follow the Google Map directions though...look at your map ahead of time as there is a much easier way to the location. The driveway is indeed steep. We handled it fine in our AWD Rav4, but if there is snow we would definitely feel better in a 4WD vehicle. The hot tub was extremely clean and was a relief after a day on the……

“The Bear Den Retreat was amazing. We still can not believe we saw bears every day! I kept noticing how many cabins did not have our amazing view, I would go back for that alone. Check in was easy, the cabin was clean and ready for our week vacation as a family! I loved waking up every morning and drinking my coffee looking for bears and at the Rocky Mountains. The roads were winding and steep at times, but the flat parking was perfect and our mini van did great! We loved the community pools……

“Amazing place to stay! Very clean and spacious and a lovely view! Very close to town and the buses for town. The only downside is getting to it bc the road is very narrow and all the switch back turns so a smaller but powerful vehicle would be advantageous! Well worth it tho!”

“We were there for 8 days and we had enough space for everyone. There was enough beds and plenty of bathrooms. The living room was good size so we could all be together and then retire to our own bedrooms. I would recommend this cabin to anyone. We wii do another trip we will stay here.”

“My family and I had a lovely time in the Smoky Mountains and really enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean and organized and had breathtaking views of the mountains. Kitchen had all of the basics and our kids loved the arcade games. We enjoyed the hot tub and the pool across the street. Host was welcoming and responsive. It is close to the national park and to Gatlinburg. We would definitely rent again.”
