“I originally didn’t intend to book a room at this hotel, but because of getting a horrible room at a different hotel this was a last minute decision. Walking in, I was immediately greeted by a young woman with a wide face. It was then that I knew this place would be a whole lot safer than the last. Then as I opened the door to my room, I was faced with shock. It certainly wasn’t what I was expecting but better! The room was huge, I quite literally felt like Kevin from the Home Alone movies……

“It was very clean and the staff communication was excellent! The area was kept very well and each cabin had ample privacy. My only complaint would be that it is quiet time all of the time. We did not travel with our kids or grandkids, but if we had, there's no way to expect that all of the time and if so, they're probably not having fun. Most campgrounds have quiet time after 9 or 10pm. Just a suggestion.”

“This was an awesome, and unique place. Beautiful woodwork, amazing windows and features. But it is 130 years old and things are definitely unique. We loved it. Never quite figured out the shower (n the Miracle room) but that’s alright. The staff was great. Matt, the bartender/waiter, was the highlight. Funny, yet professional. Talented. We would like to return. What an experience. We were there for a show downtown. Next time we will stay for dinner. ”

“We really enjoyed staying here. Great view of the lake with kayaks and pontoon available for rent, nice deck with Blackstone grill, large fire table, hot tub, and plenty of seating. Bed and sectional were very comfortable; recliner section was catching, which we reported. House is nicely decorated, and we enjoyed the fireplace. We had no mosquitoes. Owner was quick to assist with questions. Overall, we had a very nice stay! Two potential changes i would recommend are redoing the staircase to get……

“My adult daughters and I enjoyed our stay. Perfect for a Mother’s Day getaway to the tulip festival (1hr away) Quiet neighborhood. Key to the entry was tricky. We chuckled as we are on the shorter side and the cabinetry and shower are definitely made for tall people. I would return again. Property owner was very responsive to questions and extending our stay by a couple of hours. ”
