“Lavishing in a hot tub deep in the forest alongside a clear, rushing river, flourishing rhododendron, and other flowers was the epitome of "forest bathing." It was cool, cloudy, and rainy during our stay, and we didn't care! Hot-tubbing in the rain is an exquisite experience. The home was just rustic enough to be an authentic cabin in the forest. “Great location for a family trip for the weekend. Easy access to the mountain.”

“Perfect location. Very secluded, but less than a mile from restaurants and grocery store. We spent the majority of the time at the fire pit overlooking the river. The cabin was very large and could accommodate multiple families. ”

“We were very comfortable. The house does have a bit of a stink bug issue, but they're harmless if you can ignore them. The upstairs bathroom needs a new toilet seat”

“This house has it all. From the deck that overlooks the Salem River, to every utensil you could need for cooking, and they even put glasses in the freezer, which made for a very nice cold drink. There was even a hammock stand, with the hammock in the garage for use. We unfortunately didn't utilize this trip, but maybe next time. Love this place. ”

“We loved our stay here. The cabin had so much charm. It is 100yrs old so you don't often see places like this with such character. The owners you can see are actively updating but also keeping it feeling like home. The area was perfect for hiking, dining, seeing the mountain, and exploring. The only downside was we wished we had more time here! We loved our stay and hope to come back again. ”

“Great space for big groups! Plenty of space for everybody, fun things for folks to do, and excellent areas for group activites. From hanging out on the giant sectional couch as a group to doing a pizza making group dinner... this place is great for groups!The house does seem to be in the middle of some repairs and remodeling at this time, but it doesn't affect your group stay.”

“This cute house tucked in the forest was just right. It was well stocked with all the things we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms, plenty of comfy seating in the living room and cozy bedrooms. Plenty of parking, a good short hike a mile up the road and the hot tub also made this an easy stay. Check in/out was easy and the host was quick to respond to messages. We would certainly stay here again!”
