“Simply Paradise. Loved the easy stroll to the gorgeous beach. Great view of the Gulf from our balcony. Small kitchenette was great way to save on breakfast and lunch. Our best meal of the week was at the Old Captiva House - mere steps from our room. Took a complimentary kayak paddle and saw a mother manatee basking peacefully at the water’s surface. Our AC unit developed a leak that was promptly addressed by management. To sum up, Tween Waters is a quaint property with lots of amenities located……

“The cottage was clean and updated with everything you need, toiletries, kitchen pans and utensils, a full beach cart with everything needed for the beach. I took a few naps in the sun in the hammock. The location is great, an easy block to the beach. The only thing we had difficulty with was the gas grill did not heat up sufficiently to cook burgers. It was an incredible relaxing place for a family vacation, highly recommend it”

“We were only there for one evening. We arrived after hours and called the after hours number. We were given very friendly guidance on our check in. My husband used the pool and enjoyed it. Other guests had a fire going in the fire pit and welcomed us to join. Very nice indoor and outdoor space. Excellent kitchen with everything we would need if we were to cook. The room was clean, newly remodeled and very nice. Breakfast at The Perfect Cup in Matlacha was excellent with friendly, small town cafe……

“We had a delightful long weekend here in May 2025. Our room had been recently been renovated and was just lovely. We were very close to the pool but our room was very quiet. We used the Keurig and mini fridge. Staff was very helpful including maintenance and Tiki bar staff. We loved having direct access to the beach and that chairs were supplied. We spotted dolphins in the water and a turtle on the beach. During our visit we rented bikes from Billy’s Bikes to explore the island, visited Ft Myers……

“Matlaca is a beautiful little town. It feels so old Florida. Everything is in walking distance from these tiny homes which are so cute and so adorable. Everything was ready for us upon our arrival. We ate at the blue dog restaurant, which was one block away, walking distance, and also the perfect cup…. Perfect cup has the most amazing coffee and incredible crab Benedict…. “Really great to see property coming back to life after getting hit hard by hurricane Ian a few years ago. The room I stayed in was brand new and very nice. Staff was polite, responsive, and helpful. Great pool area with plenty of seating, drink/food service at your chairs, and the kids loved the water slide. The hibachi restaurant on property was a lot of fun as well.”
