The kids enjoyed walking to the lake for some fishing and enjoyed their time outdoors. We'll definitely be coming back to visit. “My husband and I had short but lovely stay at this property. It's tucked away in a quiet, peaceful are yet still conveniently close to town, making it the perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility. Definitely check out the back yard and river. The unit was comfortable and well-equipped for a relaxing getaway. Andy, the host, was very responsive and helpful. “We loved the little cottage. It was clean & homey. When you walk out the door you are faced with a wooded area. So peaceful! In the mornings and in the evenings we enjoyed sitting outside facing the woods and listening to the birds and all of the other sounds of nature. Those tree frogs provided quite a chorus in the evenings! I highly recommend this host and location.”

“This place was amazing. We actually live in Bastrop, so this place is close for us. We were wanting to get away for the night with our 6-year-old son, hang out and BBQ. “Everything was comfy-cozy, a perfect place to stay while enjoying Bastrop. The hosts were very welcoming, and allowed me privacy to enjoy my time. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the town. I hope to visit Bastrop again, and would stay here, for sure. Be aware that there are steps to access the house, for those with mobility issues.”
