“The Ruby property worked well for my husband and me. The trailer was cozy and warm when it was cold and cooled down when we had a warmer day. Everything we needed was provided. The only drawback was that the amount of water provided for a hot shower was only sufficient for a quick shower, not one with a hair wash and rinse. The owner was easy to reach by email, answered questions quickly and provided us with extra items like a bottle of wine and eggs.”

“We loved the cozy bungalow, perfect location and close to everything at Bodega Bay. The place was very clean and comfortable. Pam was extremely helpful. ”

“The property is the perfect getaway for those of us with fur babies. The place itself is a perfect set up with doors and gates that can help manage the doggos. The yard is also a great playground (with supervision) and while completely fenced, there is furniture, etc. that you'll need to manage around. The location is quiet, except for the roar of the nearby ocean waves...great starting point for walks along the beach, or even into the village of Bodega Bay. Will be returning soon! Thank……

“Amazing location with some great views of the beach. We didnt mind that the place was kind of funky and rough and the edges but it is disappointing to spend almost 1k/night at a place that wasn't very clean and did not have a decent screen door. The beds are all cheap mattresses on metal frames and were not very comfortable. The masterbedroom has a deck with a sliding door but no screen door; sucked not being able to sleep to the sound of the ocean because the owners removed it. Theres a second……

“We stayed at the Lavender House during the Point Reyes Birding Festival. It’s conveniently located near town yet very quiet and private. The house is spotless and filled with tasteful comfortable furniture. The kitchen has absolutely everything from coffee making supplies to outdoor serving ware. Both bedrooms have waffle weave cotton robes and slippers. Highly recommend.”

I saw a couple of ants scouting here and there and knew they would possibly get into food packages so I was strategic with our bags that contained food. By the morning the ants had found the garbage can by the fridge. “Getting the key was difficult. Directions said look for grey gate but there isn’t one, only a blue gate and fence. The lock is a little rough, maybe time to replace. Had to jiggle the key to lock/unlock. Inside was good, had a smell like maybe it’s time to replace the carpets. Everything else was great. Love the little oatio outside the kit he. ”

“My partner and I went up to get away and relax for a few days. Coffee on the deck overlooking the ocean in the morning, wine in the hot tub in the afternoon, and cuddles watching the sunset. Perfect way to spend each day.”

Wonderful site, a few tweaks would make it amazing

"We booked a one-night experience for ourselves, our two sons and their respective wives at this highly rated facility as part of our vacation. We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. The bed was comfortable, but most of the amenities are dated. That said, this was meant to be a “lodge”, so our expectations may have been too high. The hotel facilities, which included a small pool, hot tub, gym, spa and a bocce ball court, overlooking the coast. The quality and tastes of the food was average at best. We enjoyed some “happy hour” snacks and breakfast on-site. Overall, the food was a bit bland and a touch too salty. The view from the restaurants was spectacular nonetheless. Overall, we had a wonderful visit to the area and this facility."
