“One of the best house rental stays we have had. The house is even better than described. So thoughtfully decorated for beach fun and comfort. Beautiful lighting throughout the house, especially in the living room. The primary bedroom has indoor shutters so you can sleep through the bright morning, or nice sun shades so you can let the sun in as desired. The primary bed is electric and raises to your preference, there is even a zero gravity setting. We played scrabble by the fire on colder……

“This house has amazing views and we loved spending time on the deck. It’s a gorgeous walk to Dillon Beach, where we spent the majority of our time.”

“This is a 28' travel trailer with a slideout. It is in a great location in Inverness for exploring Pt Reyes and we stayed for three nights. As it is a travel trailer, I would think it would be tight for more than a couple or perhaps a child that sleeps on the sofa bed, but I would think any more than that and it will get really crowded with suitcases. Plus storage is always an issue in a trailer, however we used the sofa for suitcases and it worked great for the two of us. The price point is……

“Thank you for sharing you house. It is beautiful!!! We enjoyed our stay. The view, hot tub, fireplace was amazing. Loved entering the home with ambiance of the fireplace with the soothing screen saver on the TV. Much needed relaxing weekend away. I have no complaints and would definitely rent Whale Watch house again and again and again......I can't say enough. I've rented other houses in Bodega and by far this one was my favorite. “We stayed at the Lavender House during the Point Reyes Birding Festival. It’s conveniently located near town yet very quiet and private. The house is spotless and filled with tasteful comfortable furniture. The kitchen has absolutely everything from coffee making supplies to outdoor serving ware. Both bedrooms have waffle weave cotton robes and slippers. Highly recommend.”

“My husband and I were excited to drive up to this enchanting little home. The beautiful gardens welcomed us to a cozy, clean home with beautiful views of the beach below. We enjoyed the evening sunsets in the large hot tub on the back deck. The bed was very comfortable, linens were quality and towels were plush. We will be back! A happy couple on a birthday getaway”

“Great property. Beautiful location and views and beach. Hot tub is nice. Dishwasher did not work and kitchen equipment could be better. Also mattress in second bedroom was not comfortable and pillows were probably fine for kids, but not restful for middle aged parents. Wonderful site, a few tweaks would make it amazing

"We booked a one-night experience for ourselves, our two sons and their respective wives at this highly rated facility as part of our vacation. We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. The bed was comfortable, but most of the amenities are dated. That said, this was meant to be a “lodge”, so our expectations may have been too high. The hotel facilities, which included a small pool, hot tub, gym, spa and a bocce ball court, overlooking the coast. The quality and tastes of the food was average at best. We enjoyed some “happy hour” snacks and breakfast on-site. Overall, the food was a bit bland and a touch too salty. The view from the restaurants was spectacular nonetheless. Overall, we had a wonderful visit to the area and this facility."
