“Willowhaven is a fantastic cabin-in-the-woods getaway destination. The interior is a little dated, and the bedroom carpet is stained, but the house is clean. The bed was extremely comfy. “The cottage is the perfect spot for some quality solo time - I used it for a writing retreat and it was ideal. “The Attic was very impressive. You are surrounded by trees and it almost feels like a comfy, cozy treehouse. Russ was a great host and solved a little check-in issue without any drama and we had an amazing time. The place is completely outfitted with everything you would need and has lots of beautiful and thoughtful touches. “Our stay in this wonderful Monte Rio home cannot be overstated. We had a thoroughly enjoyable Thanksgiving week here. The home had everything we needed. The hot tub had a few easily solved quirks, but that was it! We stayed warm, ate well, and really enjoyed the area. “We love this beach house and its location. My wife and I enjoyed our stay here in Dillon Beach. This house is so comfortable and quiet. The surf was good both days and got some perfect waves. “The place was very relaxing. Hot tub was beautifully located under the redwoods near the creek. Linens were exceptionally scented with hormonal disruptive scented laundry detergent. Bring your own wood for the fireplace, as none is provided. BBQ grill is broken and won’t ignite.
