“This was our 2nd time to this property. On clear days you can see the ocean and watch the marine layer roll in. The views are breathtaking. Sunsets, awe inspiring. Stargazing, incredible. We spent many hours under the night sky this trip. Many skunks were out this time and our dog narrowly avoided getting sprayed, but that’s nature for you. “We enjoyed our 5 night stay at the Treehouse. It was very comfortable and with the help of the 2 fireplaces and space heaters, we were warm and cozy. Kitchen well stocked. Management company very responsive”

“Our stay in this wonderful Monte Rio home cannot be overstated. We had a thoroughly enjoyable Thanksgiving week here. The home had everything we needed. The hot tub had a few easily solved quirks, but that was it! We stayed warm, ate well, and really enjoyed the area. We hiked along Jenner Headlands Preserve, wine tasting at Lambert Bridge Winery,awesome sandwiches at The Farmer’s Wife in Sebastopol, and attended an extraordinary concert at the Iccidental Center for the Arts. The Russian River……

“Believe everything you've read in the reviews. Truely a wonderful home in amazing redwoods. Cleanliness is impecable and Elizabeth is beyone a super host. You won't find a more accomodating host and just wonderful person. If there were more than five stars to give we would. Don't miss a chance to stay there.”

“Quaint, quiet and peaceful stay”

“My husband and I stayed here with my parents for the weekend and had a great visit. It acted as a great home base for exploring Guerneville, Armstrong Redwoods, local wine tastings, and the Jenner headlands! The hot tub, projector, fireplace, record player, and finishings made the place feel so cozy and put together. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! ”

“Foxkit cottage was very welcoming, relaxing, and perfectly curated to be both beautiful and comfortable. The hosts thought of everything that would be needed to make this little oasis a home away from home. Now, the total showstopper was having the majestic ocean as the backdrop to such a lovely home. We could not get enough of the sound of the crashing waves, and the hot tub…icing on the cake! We had an absolutely wonderful time connecting as a family. We definitely plan to book again. ”

Wonderful site, a few tweaks would make it amazing

"We booked a one-night experience for ourselves, our two sons and their respective wives at this highly rated facility as part of our vacation. We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. The bed was comfortable, but most of the amenities are dated. That said, this was meant to be a “lodge”, so our expectations may have been too high. The hotel facilities, which included a small pool, hot tub, gym, spa and a bocce ball court, overlooking the coast. The quality and tastes of the food was average at best. We enjoyed some “happy hour” snacks and breakfast on-site. Overall, the food was a bit bland and a touch too salty. The view from the restaurants was spectacular nonetheless. Overall, we had a wonderful visit to the area and this facility."
