“I wish I did a little more research before booking. This lodge used to be a hostel and still seems more like a hostel than lodge. It would be perfect if I wasn’t traveling with a toddler who wants to get into everything. Location is about a five minute drive from the beach. We saw a ton of deer. It’s a little ways to the shipwreck and lighthouse. Great for trail access. Overall, if you’re traveling with small children or folks who overheat easily, maybe not the best place. “We enjoyed our one night stay. The room was clean and comfortable and matched the pictures online exactly. I saw a couple of ants scouting here and there and knew they would possibly get into food packages so I was strategic with our bags that contained food. By the morning the ants had found the garbage can by the fridge. They didn't get into any of our stuff but I could see how this could be a problem for some if they didn't notice the few scouting ants when first arriving to the room. I don't……
