“This property offered a great water view and plenty of space, which made it perfect for our group of eight to stay comfortably. While the home hasn’t had many updates since it was originally built, we actually found that added to its charm.The backyard could use a bit of landscaping and cleanup, but the outdoor seating was great—we enjoyed appetizers out there and even did some fishing off the dock.One downside was that the master bathroom didn’t have hot water, though the other three bathrooms……

“One of the best house rental stays we have had. The house is even better than described. So thoughtfully decorated for beach fun and comfort. Beautiful lighting throughout the house, especially in the living room. The primary bedroom has indoor shutters so you can sleep through the bright morning, or nice sun shades so you can let the sun in as desired. The primary bed is electric and raises to your preference, there is even a zero gravity setting. We played scrabble by the fire on colder……

“We loved this spot! It is very spacious and hosts were great, we had lots of privacy and all the amenities we needed to cook during a long weekend stay in the rain. Great hikes and beaches nearby. Would stay again!”

“This house has amazing views and we loved spending time on the deck. It’s a gorgeous walk to Dillon Beach, where we spent the majority of our time.”

“This is a 28' travel trailer with a slideout. It is in a great location in Inverness for exploring Pt Reyes and we stayed for three nights. As it is a travel trailer, I would think it would be tight for more than a couple or perhaps a child that sleeps on the sofa bed, but I would think any more than that and it will get really crowded with suitcases. Plus storage is always an issue in a trailer, however we used the sofa for suitcases and it worked great for the two of us. The price point is……

“Thank you for sharing you house. It is beautiful!!! We enjoyed our stay. The view, hot tub, fireplace was amazing. Loved entering the home with ambiance of the fireplace with the soothing screen saver on the TV. Much needed relaxing weekend away. I have no complaints and would definitely rent Whale Watch house again and again and again......I can't say enough. I've rented other houses in Bodega and by far this one was my favorite. The walk to the beach was definitely not for the faint. There are……

“We were so charmed by this place, it is a sweet and quiet green house nestled into a few trees on a small hill. Perfect location, short drive to point Reyes station. The house had everything we needed and more, we cooked breakfast in the morning and found it so cozy, it was hard to leave! Will definitely stay again!”

Wonderful site, a few tweaks would make it amazing

"We booked a one-night experience for ourselves, our two sons and their respective wives at this highly rated facility as part of our vacation. We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. The bed was comfortable, but most of the amenities are dated. That said, this was meant to be a “lodge”, so our expectations may have been too high. The hotel facilities, which included a small pool, hot tub, gym, spa and a bocce ball court, overlooking the coast. The quality and tastes of the food was average at best. We enjoyed some “happy hour” snacks and breakfast on-site. Overall, the food was a bit bland and a touch too salty. The view from the restaurants was spectacular nonetheless. Overall, we had a wonderful visit to the area and this facility."
