“The pool and beach setting were incredible, the room was spacious and had nice amenitys, the beds were comfy and balconys had a stunning view. We upgraded to half board when we arrived, breakfast had lots of options, dinner was always really high quality food, however the amount offered did seem to depend on how many people were in the hotel at the time. ”

“My family ( 2 Adults , 1 infant , 1 kid ) loved the 5 night / 6 day stay at Taj Bentota for many reasons : - Quality of service was excellent . Sam , Nuwan , Ravindra at the Palms restaurant made sure we felt at home. “Even before we left home, the staff at taavetti was responsive and kind and helped us organise a driver who picked us up (and waited for us to sort out an issue with our bags!) at colombo airport with a sign. Upon arrival they were welcoming and smiling and provided us with cold towels and a refreshing mango juice. The property itself is beautiful - a colonial style villa set in lush tropical gardens, with a pool that wraps around the building, but it’s the people who work there that made it one of the most memorable stays ever. “I can't imagine there being a better place in Galle. Peaceful. Quiet. Lovely owner. She was so nice to us, my wife was pregnant and even let us stay a bit longer whilst we waited for our taxi as she wasn't feeling well. What a lovely human being! We were welcomed with drinks and a hotel towel. Breakfast was amazing. Staff are really nice. Highly recommend.”
