“We wanted a relaxing and peaceful holiday with a pool and view and good service. This hotel didn’t disappoint us. There are only six rooms so the service was personal and exceptional. The hotel is located at the quieter end of the Hikkadawa stretch of beach which suited us. The livelier bars and hotels were only a short walk away too. There are buses every five minutes just outside that took us to the Tsunami museum one day and Galle Fort another for about 50p each, each way. Great fun and……

“Staff were lovely. Although not quite prepared for our arrival, they sprung into action to prepare our rooms. Rooms were clean and spacious and had basic furniture and en-suite shower rooms. Air con in bedroom. Stairs only, up to the second floor. Lovely balcony with overhanging roof to reduce any rain coming onto balcony.
