“The place was not ready for people to stay, total rip off as far as value. The establishment asked for extra money for the use of air conditioning. Checking out was a nightmare, they couldn't find payment in spite of me providing all records. ”

“Hikkaduwa Beach Hotel is located right on the beach, the ocean is just a step away. We couldn't have asked for a better location. The restaurant is open for limited time frames but room service is available throughout the day. Loved the view from our room, to get the sea view you have to book premium sea view. Comfortable beds and pillows. The staff was courteous and helpful. The Wi-Fi was spotty especially during peak usage but the view, the sea, sun and sand make up for it. Food service maybe……

Sam , Nuwan , Ravindra at the Palms restaurant made sure we felt at home. Room Boy Gagan treated the kids with his artistic work every time he cleaned the room. - Exceptional food at the Palms restaurant. “A bit late but we had a great stay. Highlight was Kumara the yoga teacher who adjusted the level as i was the only one that turned up. Guys around the resturant pool were good. And the office lady who helped me off site when she was walking hone and i had an issue.”

“The pool and beach setting were incredible, the room was spacious and had nice amenitys, the beds were comfy and balconys had a stunning view. We upgraded to half board when we arrived, breakfast had lots of options, dinner was always really high quality food, however the amount offered did seem to depend on how many people were in the hotel at the time. ”
