“Staff were lovely. Although not quite prepared for our arrival, they sprung into action to prepare our rooms. Rooms were clean and spacious and had basic furniture and en-suite shower rooms. Air con in bedroom. Stairs only, up to the second floor. Lovely balcony with overhanging roof to reduce any rain coming onto balcony. Small but clean pool and always a sun bed available when we wanted one. Small bar area. About 800m to nearest section of beach but a bit further to supermarket and beaches,……

“予約完了後、数時間でホテル側から「設備の破損があり修理に4〜5日掛かる。キャンセルしてくれ」とのメールが来た。この時点でキャンセル料が100%掛かる時間帯。こちらからキャンセル手続きをすると宿泊代が戻らないかもしれないと考えてそのままにしておき東京の窓口に電話。何度かけても時間を変えて掛けても日にちを変えて掛けても繋がらない。祝日で休みだったのかもしれないが旅先で問い合わせ窓口に電話が全然繋がらないのはとても困る。当日、直接ホテルに出向くが看板が無く分かりにくい。やっと見つけたら開いていない。誰もいない。隣のアパートにオーナーか従業員が居たので事情を聞くと、彼らからキャンセル手続きはした。彼らにもサイト側からの返信が無いとのこと。最終的に数日が経過して代金の払い戻しのメールが届いた。窓越しに眺めた部屋はサイトの紹介通り良さそうな感じだったので泊まれなかったのは残念だ。入口の階段に多数の野良犬の糞が落ちていたのはいただけない。また同じ地域に行くことがあれば今度は泊まって評価を出したいと思う。”

“From the check-in to the last day of our stay, the Management and staff were very friendly, caring and hospitable. Lovely location overlooking the ocean. Great food with verity of flavours and options. Thoroughly enjoyed the local seafood choices. Memorable Sri Lankan experience.”

“This hotel is situated on a beautiful private property, with a lovely garden and private beach with rock pools! Food - especially Sri Lankan food - was fantastic! The staff also made sure they did everything to make our stay a lovely one. But sadly, the place wasn’t up to standard. Rooms, toilets and surrounding areas looked worn down. “The staff were excellent especially the restaurant manager and the guest relations who were very accommodating and attentive to our needs Breakfast and evening meal were very good The sea can be quite rough but enjoyable at the same time with a soft sandy beach and warm water, the pool is not very big and the beach towels not very good Once again the staff are excellent”
