“We found the island to be a magical experience and the house was wonderful. We had 9 children age 4-13 and 7 adults. Everything was great. There are primarily 5 bedrooms and a great room but just a pull out couch. It would have been great to have kings in all the bedrooms but we loved the house. The host Karla was really helpful”

“Had a great stay. The property is about 15 minutes by golf cart from any marina but its a great drive with lots of wildlife. Beach front access was great for the kids. We will be back!”

“This island is like taking a step back in time. It is quiet and makes you feel as though you are on a private beach. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Our house was clean and everything was easy to navigate. The ferry and land transportation were easy to navigate (we used island head).We will definitely be back! ”

“We can not say enough about this place. We had such an amazing time, we already planning our next visit! The cottage was sooo clean and absolutely beautiful we had everything we needed to cook amazing meals while we were there as we did bring some things for a couple of dinners and quick lunches. The views were stunning and we loved being able to walk right down to the the ocean! The melrose beach club being so close was another plus. The pool was amazing! We did every thing on the island you……

“We had an amazing stay at an amazing house, with an amazing host/manager. Susan was more than helpful picking us up twice at freeport as I had to make 2 trips to bring people and gear over to the island. She was happy to pick us up and take us back to Freeport on our departure date as well. We will definately use this property again. The house was clean, nice, and decorated perfectly for Daufuskie island. We had a pretty nastyd thunderstorm while we were there, and the games they had were great……

“Our family has rented a number of vacation houses over the years. This house was one of the best for bedroom space. The 2 detached pods were great for those who needed a little more privacy or separation from the large group. The beds were extremely comfortable--which is not always the case in rental houses.We loved the quiet, laid back atmosphere of Daufuskie! Our 5 children-ages 6-14--had a great time playing on the beach. Even though it was December, they played in the water everyday. ……
