“Friendly staff. Quiet location on a lake. Delicious bar food. Room was small but bed comfortable. Toilet seat not connected to toilet and one of the paper insulated cups for tea or coffee had obviously been used as it was stained with drink made in it. No shower or hair soap and conditioner provided. ”

“Lovely old fashioned downstairs with bar and where they serve a full Irish breakfast. It’s a very old building and the floorboards in the bedrooms creak and you can hear the people in the next room. Interesting old town in someways and not at all touristy.”

“Property location is PERFECT! In the heart of Eyre Square and all the pubs, restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The Skeff Pub was awsome for any time of the day. Also visited the adjacent coffee shop NERO quite often for early morning and afternoon coffee. Great little spot!”

“This is a nice and quiet place to stay. There is parking on site and the breakfast was good. The staff was polite and friendly. It's a good location if you want a nice, clean place to stay that's outside of Galway but close enough for access.”

We were on the top floor which meant carrying luggage up 3 flights of very narrow stairs, staff assisted - historical building, no elevator. Once moved in we enjoyed the stay! Included breakfast was fresh and delicious, staff was very welcoming. Right on pedestrian street with restaurants, bars, music - we enjoyed the proximity and walkability but some may find loud for sleeping.”

“This is our third visit to Galway. The House Hotel was a good fit for us. We like being to be able to walk around Galway. There are many shops, night spots and restaurants to dine at within walking distance. The hotel does have an elevator. Parking is relatively close and it isn't free. Breakfast was good. I prefer perked coffee and had to have Americano here. Would recommend. ”

“The room was spacious, well-equipped, and clean. I liked the on-site laundry facilities. The downside was that on-site parking was limited. ”

“Room was tiny. No reception. We never saw anyone that worked for the hotel. This was especially a problem when some people staying at the hotel got locked out at 3am and spent half an hour banging on the door trying to get someone to let them in. ”
