“The cottage was very clean upon arrival and you can tell they are meticulous with their maintenance of the property. Beds were all comfortable and bathroom was well stocked with towels & tp. Kitchen was also well stocked with anything and everything you’d need to cook a meal. Kayla was very responsive to any questions we had and reached out prior to check in and at check out as well. “We had a blast. The grandkids enjoyed fishing off the docks, and kayaking in the bay. We visited the beaches at Fairhaven, Sodus Point and Port Bay. We loved the sunsets while having dinner around the firepit”

“Most of the time, when you rent from vrbo, the address appears as soon as the booking is confirmed. This host never gives the address because they never intend for you to stay there. We booked this property and then suddenly there was a maintenance issue. One message said it was electrical and another said ot was a water problem. But not to worry! They have other properties that you can stay in that are complete dumps. They come wirh garbage and debris in the entry way, sticky floors, bugs,……

“We used this cottage as a home base for lots of hiking in the area. We enjoyed kayaking in the bay. We used the fire pit two nights and had s'mores. A rustic retreat.”

“We came into town for the Earth Day half marathon in Baldwinsville. This was the perfect place to stay! So many amenities and the perfect porch for morning coffee! I wish we could of stayed longer!”

“Iam disabled and need assistance walking,the cottage was open concept and easy for me to get around inside. The living space gave a relaxed vibe . Beautiful views. I brought a queen mattress cover that made the queen bed comfortable for myself. If i had to say anything that was an issue it would be the steps to the back yard. I was not able to get down to the water or back yard. I think if anything I would add to your information would be to let people know about the deck stairs. I left with……

“Camp Shah was a fantastic getaway for our extended family. We had such a great time swimming, kayaking, sitting around the fire and playing cards on the screen porch. The only suggestions I have is that the 100lb weight limit on the bunk beds should definitely be listed, and also possibly an upgrade to the refrigerator. Other than that, the property was wonderful and the owners were super responsive, friendly and helpful. I'd rent it again.”
