“What an amazing little place this was! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hidden gem. Right on the water, we enjoyed early morning coffee watching the fish jump and the birds float along the water. We slept up in the loft and the view out the window at sunrise was just breathtaking. “It was a sad trip as we were dropping our daughter off for college. So it was a blessing to have this central location to be easy to check into to, keep clean, and feel safe. We were spooked out at the basement it that’s cause we do not have basements where we live. We let the horror stories about basements get the better of us. But that lasted like 60 minutes. Haha. “Quaint, clean house. Beautiful backyard that has a nice flat section for sitting and then slopes down to the lake. It was wonderful to have kayaks for afternoon jaunts on the lake after a morning of walking at the Mashpee Town Beach- which is connected to the South Cape Beach State Park. Drawbacks are 1) the property manager never got back to us with a solution to an issue. 2) the neighbor's house is very close and they have a TV on their porch which ruins a quiet evening on the renter's porch.”

“We loved our stay and the hosts Joanne and David are very kind and accommodating. The house was well laid out and nicely decorated. The setting was just gorgeous. “Rented this cozy house in Bourne MA that was in a quiet safe neighborhood with great neighbors. The house was super clean and the owners very friendly communicative and informative about things to do in the area. Just know that room described as having twin bed is NOT two side by side beds but a very nice pull out bed from a couch that does turn out to be a nice comfy bed.
