“Tornados & bad weather struck 3 hours after we arrived in Perry. The whole town was without power until 2 or 3am the next day. We made the best of it by finding some candles in the house & made a little party out of it. The rest of the week was fun. Morel hunting, fishing on Mark Twain Lake & the Salt River. The people in the area were all so nice. We will definitely be back sometime. Thank you Greg & Chris! Cool place to hang out for a week.”

“My family had a very nice stay at this beautiful house. The house is in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Everything was very clean and in good working order. The owner was very responsive to any questions. We also had a every good evening at a restaurant/bar a block away called Social House 227. Everything about our stay was pleasant. No complaints. ”

“Three adult women stayed here for a "girls weekend". We ventured into Hermann during the day and enjoyed the peaceful countryside in the evening. “Our family had the best time staying in the Yellow Rose! We loved the restored character and mansion feel. There's room for everyone, 2 pianos, lots of board games, a Wii, and a projector for movies.
