The staff were outstanding and very accommodating.The rooms were spotless and quiet. Breakfast was spot on.All in all a top class stay. “Fantastic location, our hosts were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent and the rooms comfortable and very clean. We’d probably choose a room without a sea view next time- the tractor that rakes the sand starts around 6.30am and the main road in front is noisy. Thoroughly recommend”

“A lovely one night stay. The pub is in a quiet village location, close to lots of interesting places in beautiful Dorset countryside. Our room was large, with an equally large bathroom. We ate in the pub in the evening. The menu choice was good, prices reasonable and the food was excellent. We had our breakfast served outside in the garden and, again, this was tasty, hot and really enjoyable. Thoroughly recommended.”

“The property is tastefully decorated in great condition and extremely clean and tidy. We street parked during our stay with no issues with a parking pass from our amazing host Maxine. Our stay wouldn’t have been the same without her , went above and beyond to make our experience of Weymouth the best it could be starting the day with a delicious breakfast and the go too’s and must sees of what the area had to offer. Booking anywhere else would be a waste of money… this is the place it Stands……

“The Old Ship Inn is the perfect place to stay during our trip to Dorchester and surrounding area. It’s a gorgeous Inn tucked into a very special old pub. Our room was very clean, and the beds were super comfortable. We will be coming back here for sure. ”

“A delightful B&B on the Esplanade in Weymouth. You will be greeted with the warmest welcome by Derek, the proprietor. Freshly cooked breakfasts and sometimes cake in the afternoons. The rooms are well appointed.”
