“Went here with a friend for parents weekend at GCSU. The young man who checked me in was so helpful. Made me feel like family rather than just a patron. The building and rooms show their age. If you’re looking for something with all the bells and whistles then this isn’t the place for you. We just wanted an affordable clean convenient room which is exactly what we got. The plus was the young man who checked us in and truly showed compassion to 2 senior citizen ladies traveling. I felt……

“We enjoyed staying at this charming, comfortable little cabin. It was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. My son loved the outside shower and the soaking tub was so relaxing. The newly built pergola (the owner and his son built it) was lovely for my morning coffee. This property has all the amenities you will need and more. The host, Tracy, is lovely as well. I will be staying here again!”

“We had a great time staying at the Asylum house. I will not lie it was a bit scary driving up. Once there it was a blast. Walking around the old Hospital grounds. We think we got some voice box recordings. Did hear some screams, well we think we did. Saw the old Prison creepy for sure. Must go to the old cemetery. Could have used more towels, but that would be the only down side. So if your looking for a place that has a past, this is the place. Its a must see for sure. Thanks. John. ”

“We had a great stay at the FamiLee Lake House! The property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The access to the lake was perfect, and the fenced yard was ideal for our dogs. The hosts were very responsive to any questions. We’d definitely consider staying here again in the future!”
