“We were just visiting Charlottesville and the surrounding area for a few days during Spring Break. We live in northern VA and have spent time in the area, but more for work and less for fun. The cottage was great, clean, and calming. The hosts were responsive and friendly as well. If you’re looking for a place somewhat off the beaten path but close enough to all the things to do in the area, this is a great spot! If you love horses, Ruby is super friendly and will come say hello anytime!”

Our boys most enjoyed playing with the friendly family pets, as well as taking a stroll through the fields to see some farm animals. The hosts also have a restaurant in town where we had a delightful meal during our stay. My only regret is that our schedule was so full of events that we didn't have even more time to spend in this beautiful and relaxing atmosphere.”

“We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house is beautiful and well maintained. The property was stunning and the horses were friendly. It’s a great place to stay with family (kids included). The chef’s kitchen is stocked with every kitchen cooking utensil you may need. The rooms are just as large as they look in the pictures, so there is plenty of space to spread out and unwind. The weather was a little chilly so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoors nearly as much as we would have liked, but……
