The Hive was an extremely cute, well appointed and seemingly professionally decorated stay with a large, fully fenced in back yard for our fur babies to run and sniff after being cooped up in the car for 10 hours. “We’re from New York, and this was our fifth or sixth visit to Stephenville. My daughter will be attending Tarleton in the fall, so we’ve had the chance to explore the area quite a bit. I always prefer staying in a VRBO over a hotel, and this place was absolutely perfect! Communication with Jamie was fantastic, and the townhouse itself was beautiful—modern, spotless, and just a short walk to campus. I’ll definitely be booking this place again!”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our favorite part was sitting on the patio watching the horses. ”

“My family was able to spend the weekend at this site. The weather was perfect. We enjoyed fishing, cooking and eating together - played games and able to get away from the hustle of life. The serene atmosphere is just what we needed. Great WiFi was a plus though we spend most of our time outdoors - ”

“I had to volunteer with the Tarleton parents association and did want to drive home after tye event. We stay to visit my sons and spend the remaining of the weekend with him. The cottage was nice and very peaceful. 8t made tue stay be great. Would stay there again if available when we have other Tarleton events.”

“Came down from WI for a series Tarleton vs St Thomas MN. This house was in the perfect location for us to get to and from the ballpark in just minutes. Very cozy well stocked home. Just a short drive to Hico for some sightseeing and shopping! Host had great restaurant recommendations and was easy to communicate with. ”

“We loved the home and back yard area. The home was clean and comfortable. They need a grill for the back patio and the Internet was out for the entire stay we were there so the TVs didn’t work. The home post says there are animals on the property, but there are a LOT of animals right next to the back yard. Lots of chickens and turkeys. Sleeping in is not really an option with the roosters. But we loved the home. The management was attentive and quick to help with communication.”
