“After staying in 7 different hotels in 7 days in Portugal, the Suave Mar easily stands out as the best. Reception and bar staff (the only staff that I had contact with) were outstanding. The cleaning of my room and the rest of the hotel demonstrates the high standard of the domestics work. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpfull, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. “Only thing we regret is that we only started one night here as we on the way from Portugal to Spain! We couldn’t say enough about this historical hotel and can’t wait to expect one day we return for the longer stay. The free breakfast was served on an ancient stone table, hotel also served a wonderful dinner, it was delicious!
