“Lovely, charming ryokan exactly as pictured. The omakase dinner was amazing and the breakfast was also very welcome. It’s in a very quiet part of the village so it’s very peaceful. One of the rooms has a patio great for chilling out and it’s almost dark enough at night to take photos of the Milky Way. On a side note, I initially just wanted to drop my bags off in morning, but to my surprise, the owner allowed me to check-in early! Highly recommended stay. Some things to note: - There’s a shop……

“Excellent view from both windows in our room. We can see the big orange Torii in the sea. Room is comfortable and larger than expectation. Food is tasty and service is considerate. Like our luggage was well delivered to our room when check in and with shuttle service that ride us to the ferry pier when check out. ”

“It was a total experience to stay at Kenji‘s VRBO. In a beautifully rustic setting with gorgeous gardens and wildlife Lulling us to sleep along with a most amazing view of the water. I wish we had stayed another night but I would recommend highly for a truly magical stay!”
