“This was a one-of-a-kind experience and I wish we could have stayed longer! What Chris is doing with his property in Poncha Pass is incredible and must be seen to be believed. We never expected the yurts to be so luxurious and fun but it was way more special and memorable than staying in a hotel! The kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom amenities were excellent and we were comfortable both in the day and night. The pictures and description really don't do this place justice and we're really happy……

“Everything about our stay was superb. Amenities and supplies met our needs perfectly. The house is spacious for two or three people, the outside property is attractive, and the neighborhood is quiet. Last but not least, communicating with the host was easy and prompt. ”

“Great place to stay. Very clean and all check in / check out instructions are clear. Only issues we had was the hot water heater tripped, but Isaline was onnsite within 20 minutes and had it resolved. Will stay here again, if we come through area.”

We wished we could've taken it with us on our week-long trip around Colorado. It is very nicely decorated, exceptionally clean and the attention to detail and thoughtfulness is amazing. “Blue Elk is an excellent stay. Vrbo and especially Tracy, the host, were helpful in making reservations and preparation. The site has all the appliances and supplies of home in good working order. The location is breathtaking. We loved the wildlife (although watch out on the road!) and (mostly) quiet, cool weather in late July, but warm blankets too. A great time had by all.”

“Maddie was an excellent host. She was so nice and we got to meet her at the property when we arrived. She was so kind and made special arrangements for my special needs son’s 16th birthday. It was a wonderful stay. We loved the area, all the things to do at the house. Perfect amount of space. We will be back for sure! ”

“This was a great place to meet family and enjoy the amazing Sangre de Cristo views and Westcliffe. The property was ideal for a getaway with my elderly parents and our dog. The 1-level home with an entryway ramp and master walk in shower with room for a seat were elder-friendly. The paved neighborhood streets with epic mountain views made for many enjoyable dog walks. The lush lawn and mature trees make this property an oasis in this neighborhood with plenty of space between homes. The kitchen……
