“This was an ideal place for my spouse, service dog, and I to getaway and decompress from everyday demands. We came to Westcliffe from the east. Got groceries and supplies there, then located the property. We did not get back in the car until the end of our stay. The cabin could use TLC, but is lovely & comfortable. We slept so well! Views were gorgeous, except you see another home out of nearly each window. It is up the side of the valley. We had clouds and high winds. Didn't drive to hiking……

“Gorgeous location with incredible views from every window. This home is well stocked and has excellent bedding, beds and pillows. Furniture is nice and comfortable. The hot tub, patio and patio furniture is great too. It is immaculately clean, which we appreciated with 2 -1year olds. We’ve never stayed in a cleaner VRBO, truly spotless!! “My spouse and I loved the cabin. I greatly appreciated the level of care the cabin was prepared with; it had everything ready and was very clean. It was perfect for the two of us. It was fun to roam around the grounds and see how close it was to the national forest. It was a perfect drive to Mt. Princeton too. It was definitely a 5/5 stay. ”

“This cabin was located at a lower elevation than other cabins we viewed. Perfect for a couples get away. Appliances were large and functioned well. Used the crock pot and ate at the cabin. Never ate out! We enjoyed visiting this part of Colorado which made this cabin a great location. The history of the cabin is awesome decor and the framed reminders of what NOT to do at the cabin was very tasteful. We used the Fire-pit every night and enjoyed the wilderness location. Only 1.3 miles of unpaved……

It is just a few miles from the Great Sand Dunes National Park that is simply awe inspiring and has fabulous sledding on the Dunes for the entire family.
