“We came to this home a week before Thanksgiving and we got to live our winter wonderland dreams. Just enough snow that the kids were able to sled and build snowmen the whole trip, but not enough snow to keep us snowed it. Not too far from town, but very peaceful.This home is a place we want to come back and see during Spring/Summer. ”

“Had a great time here at the cabin. It is very simple and the perfect place for an in nature getaway. It is a small and home cabin with antique fixtures. The bed is not the most comfortable and the shower needs some care. The cabin also does not lock from the inside (only the outside) which is a little odd. But besides that I would come Back!”

“We had a great Christmas this year with our family. Cabin was in a perfect location for Monarch Ski Resort, in addition a quick trip into Salida if we needed something. Home was clean, spacious, and over all was wonderful. Highly recommend!!!”

“This cabin has a beautiful view and the beds were comfortable. The immediate driveway needs to be addressed a bit with (deep washed out areas) but it’s ok with an SUV. I really liked that they had comfortable seating outside with cushions to enjoy the view. There was plenty of stocked dishes to cook with. The drive to the house is 40 minutes from the main road and is mostly dirt but the drive is pretty. Make sure you bring any groceries or anything you need if you do not want to travel out a……

“We stayed during Christmas and it was everything we were needing. It was truly a place to disconnect and enjoy nature. Eric checked on us throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Definitely recommend if you want to sit back and relax. ”
