“Our family had a great time. We loved the secluded cabin and the access to Buena Vista and Salida. Going to bed with the windows open and falling asleep to the sounds of Browns Creek was awesome. Rick is a wonderful host. Very flexible and easy to reach if needed. We were blessed to find one of the coolest places in Colorado to make memories with our daughters!”

“We had a great Christmas this year with our family. Cabin was in a perfect location for Monarch Ski Resort, in addition a quick trip into Salida if we needed something. Home was clean, spacious, and over all was wonderful. Highly recommend!!!”

“Great location to stay. Phillip greeted us upon arrival, very nice and friendly guy. We enjoyed our stay at their location. One thing we were very displeased with was the uncleanliness in the house. Dog hair all over the place, on the carpets, the beds, on the countertops & table. Pet friendly places must be cleaned much better at all times.”

“This cabin has a beautiful view and the beds were comfortable. The immediate driveway needs to be addressed a bit with (deep washed out areas) but it’s ok with an SUV. I really liked that they had comfortable seating outside with cushions to enjoy the view. There was plenty of stocked dishes to cook with. The drive to the house is 40 minutes from the main road and is mostly dirt but the drive is pretty. Make sure you bring any groceries or anything you need if you do not want to travel out a……

We noticed a slight cleaning issue and when brought up the host, Bill, was great to work with and assured the issue was taken care of. The property is in a great location, a quiet neighborhood with a short walk to downtown. We would highly recommend it! ”
