So nice to relax in a beautifully decorated home with comfortable beds, roomy bathrooms, all the accessories you could need, and to be able to cook a full Christmas dinner for the family with a large table to eat around and a living room with huge TV where we enjoyed watching the seasonal specials. “I am a bit loss for words to describe our recent stay at Maddie’s cottage. We have had a hectic year and needed a place to get away and reconnect again. From my first encounter with Maddie her caring and genuine warmth was evident. She went the extra mile to help us feel at home at her lovely retreat. Her eye to detail and equipping the cottage with more than the necessary meant we did not really need to leave. We enjoyed the hikes around the cottage and spent hours gazing at the skies. I would……

Very inspiring and created a peaceful fun vibe while we played games. Very private and peaceful location. Walkable neighborhood with great views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. We drove to the Colorado Gator Farm and were not Disappointed. Rescue reptiles in Colorado so cool! We would defiantly stay……

“The property was not really within walking distance of downtown area. Beautiful house but we went at Christmas time and they had no decorations. I realize they probably worry about offending someone but I don’t think garland on the fireplace mantels or a fake poinsettia here or there would have been an issue. It would have been nice if they had some box games for kids or families to play while staying there. Ok for a night or two. ”

There is TONS of space in the common area which was great for our group. The kitchen was fully stocked and beyond (loved the tea and coffee setup :).
