“This property is absolutely gorgeous. We arrived 2 days before my daughter’s wedding in Rye. The house was clean, beautiful and had all the necessities. The hot tub was a great feature along with the smoker grill, gas fireplace on the back porch, and the fire pit! The property owner was very responsive and the house directions were clear. The distance to Brush Canyon Ranch was perfect. The view of the mountains were amazing. This property is a MUST!!”

“The most relaxing, happy trip we have had in a long time! We stayed over July 4th to get our dogs away from fireworks in the city. Planned to do a lot of hiking. But Charley’s property is so wonderful we spent almost all of our time on site! Sitting in the beautiful yard, watching newly fledged mountain bluebirds. Looking at the incredible stars. Relaxing on the comfortable sofas. This property has everything we could have even imagined. It is not someone’s cabin they rent out once in a while.……

“Blue Elk is an excellent stay. Vrbo and especially Tracy, the host, were helpful in making reservations and preparation. The site has all the appliances and supplies of home in good working order. The location is breathtaking. We loved the wildlife (although watch out on the road!) and (mostly) quiet, cool weather in late July, but warm blankets too. A great time had by all.”
