“This house is roomy and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in the area. There were six of us. Location is good for visiting World's End State Park and local hiking. We chose not to purchase a temporary membership in Eagles Mere Association. (For our weekend stay, the Association quoted us a $70 fee in order to use facilities. Since we were attending a family reunion in the area we didn't feel we would have time to use the facilities enough to make it worthwhile.) The house had games,……

“This property is new and clean. We were happy with the flexibility of the host and the comfort of the home. The only downside, as others have mentioned, was the nasty sulfur smell of the water. It also has a slimy feel. If you can get past that, the place is perfect! Rich is responsive to questions and was flexible with our needs as we were bringing a baby for the holiday weekend. . ”

The house is large enough to fit many family members with comfortable and beautiful communal areas to get together. We loved sitting on the porch together overlooking the lake and being a quick walk from the beach. ”

Cindy was a wonderful host! She left some local treats for us on the table on arrival and gave us some recommendations for activities in the area. “Great clean cabin in the woods. We are very familiar with the area we had a cabin 20 minutes away from this one for many years but sold a few years back. This cabin is very peaceful. Was snowing when we arrived it was picture perfect scenery!!!!! Had a campfire outside. Was created with a bottle of wine and warm cabin…. There is no signal here which I loved (teenage son not so much lol…). Satellite TV worked great. All in all a great very clean and comfortable spot to get away up in the……

“This was our second time staying at this home, and the first time bringing my young children (11 and 8). We absolutely love the property, the home is stunning and it sits on such a beautiful piece of land. The home was exceptionally clean and my son loved that there was a piano there where he could play his music. The new fire pit is absolutely amazing, we lit fires each night even though it got pretty cold outside. It’s the only home to rent if you want to stay in this part of Sullivan County.……
