“Serene and beautiful. More spacious even than it looks online. Wonderful place to retreat to with a group of couple friends or a family visiting the beautiful mountains and farms in the area. Feels like you’ve disconnected from the world, yet a great coffee shop and fully stocked supermarket are a few minutes ride. The hosts were very kind and communicative. Check in was a breeze. ”

“We deeply enjoyed our stay.Arrival: Our host was very attentive from the time we booked our stay to the time we left. All instructions were accurate and more importantly, the rental was clean and well prepared.Stay: Our host was quick to offer solutions for even minor inconveniences. The neighbors were kind and the area was quiet. There was a community party on friday that lasted until about 11pm (might have just been a special event).Departure: Host was still considerate and kind, following up……

“The views are amazing and the house is great. I do think you need to know there’s a LOT of steps/stairs to get to this home. Outside of that this home and the owners are awesome. ”

“Completely redone/new. We think it may have just been done, because there were sparse kitchenware. Enough for two, and we managed to cook, but definitely needs an upgrade as far as pots, pans, utensils and dishware. Keep in mind there is no yard, so if you bring pets plan on going to Hopatcong State Park (three minute drive) to walk them. Also, it’s on a hill and the dock and lake are only accessible by many steep steps. ”
