“I only stayed for one night, but it was wonderful. The door was thin even though the walls were thick, so it was weird being able to hear people through the door as they walked by. The space was interesting, in a cute historical building kind of way. The hotel was in walking distance of all the major areas of interest and restaurants in the downtown area. “Checkin was easy. Snacks and kitchen area were nice. Nice touches like white noise machine, eye masks, etc were a really unexpected and nice touch. Our room was a bit cramped, and it would’ve been nice to have some plates and cutlery in the kitchen. The microwave was way too loud too. We felt like we were disturbing everyone, every time we used it. ”

“This was our first experience with HI Express. We were pleasantly surprised! The layout of the room was well thought out and it was obvious that the hotel had been recently renovated. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was a full breakfast, not just continental. The rate was reasonable. We've decided to make this our hotel for when we visit Staunton.”
