We didnt realize the distance from red river gorge area when we booked but honestly the drive was nice and scenic. Would definitely book here again! Perfect for a small family, friends weekend or couples trip! ”

“We came down to Morehead for Family Day at Morehead State University to visit our 17 year old son who is participating in Kentucky’s GSP program there this summer. We wanted a home base for this trip close to the campus and even closer to the lake with a kitchen to cook him some home cooked meals. This cabin had it all!!! I’m a clean freak and this cabin was spotless and still smelled brand new. I loved the decor and aesthetic and the cabin had very nice finishes. My 12 year old daughter loved……

“This place is quite nice. Giant TV's in every room, new appliances, huge deck with a hot tub, pets allowed and the location is 15 minutes from everything RRG. Now, a couple things you NEED to know - the last mile of the drive is hairy. They are CLEAR about this in the listing, so it's not a secret, but don't discount it. 2WD won't cut it on these hills - you'll slip and a car won't have the necessary clearance. It won't be fun. “You couldn’t beat the location, it was within 10-20 minutes of many hikes, restaurants, and the small lake. The cabin was very cute! The hosts were very quick about responding and great to rent from. ”

“Toasted Marshmellow was a fantastic place to stay during our quick trip to RRG. The location was excellent with Gorge Underground just down the road and it’s very close to the Natural Bridge. Other trails such as Grays Arch and a visit to Creation Falls was a short car ride away. The home itself was very clean and more than met everyone’s needs. The hot tub was clean and in excellent working order as were all other appliances. We would absolutely stay here again. ”

“While the drive to the property can be a bit treacherous especially at night we were able to safely navigate there and out without the need for a 4 wheel drive. The cabin itself was excellent and the location can’t be beat! It isn’t pictured but if you head out the back door there is a way to access the river/creek down the hillside just be aware it can be a bit of a scramble especially if it was raining recently.
