“We came across this place purely by chance, as we had a day in hand while driving across the state and were simply looking for somewhere with an outdoor pool for some R&R. What a find, and rather better than some random Hampton Inn!!! It's a beautiful place and even us jaded Brits were impressed with the historic house, the decor and the setting. The hosts were attentive and friendly but, with no other guests there, we really felt we had the place to ourselves. Would highly recommend.”

“We frequently stay at B&Bs and this property outshone all the others. The bathrooms were all modern and very clean, comfy bed, great lighting in the rooms. The breakfast might have been the best part, however, and every day was delicious, filling, and pretty presentation. The inn provides lots of water and soft drink choices, as well as coffees and teas (all self-serve). Fresh-baked cookies every night, and self-serve wine, too! “My family and I had an excellent stay. We arrived before check-in time and were more than willing to just drop our bags and go, but the staff went out of their way to find an available room and give us a chance to settle in. (We have two small kids so this was extra helpful.) The hotel looks brand new and everything was spotless and very comfortable. We especially appreciated the full size fridge! “Stayed here one night while on the road. Convenient location. Room was clean and had a refrigerator. Handled late night check in. Inexpensive. Pretty standard poor hotel breakfast but at least able to get a coffee before leaving. Would stay again for a night on the way. ”
