“I booked the La Mada Hotel as it was advertised as an airport hotel and decided being close to the airport was a good safe choice for my first four nights in Nairobi, Kenya. The hotel is 10 miles from the airport and their shuttle is $50 which I was not aware of. But once I was able to get an Uber, the cost was KSH1600 (about $14) which took me directly to the hotel. I was very happy when I arrived to the hotel as I went through security and the hotel is located in the middle of a forest. ……

A late checkout was accommodated even if we asked at the last minute. Area could be noisy outside, please check with the staff if you prefer quiet room. I highly recommend ”
