“We loved the cabin. The views were pretty good, the location was great, and the cabin was very clean. Our family had a great time. The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is the video game system by the pool table was gone, the kids were very bummed by this. The Xbox in the basement doesn’t work, seems to be a problem with the power block. Again, just a bit of a bummer for the kids, but not a necessity. “This is our second time staying at Almost Heaven, and the name is perfect! The three living areas, each with their own bathroom, was perfect for our group. The kitchen was well appointed and clean with ample counter space. Entry into the property was electronic, and worked every time. Rachel is a very gracious host who worked to meet our every need. “There’s so much good to say about this cabin and its owners. We come from Florida to the Blue Ridge mountains almost every year and this stay has by far been the best. From the very start, Kendall and Caleb were incredible hosts, making sure we felt welcomed and had everything we needed. They were so easy to communicate with which was such a joy. The cabin and property were absolutely stunning. Coming from Florida and being worried about steep, unpaved driveways is a real issue, but this cabin……

“We really enjoyed out stay at this cabin, it was spacious and laid out really well. It is situated at the end of the street so there is no traffic and very quiet. It has a great deck which unfortunately we did not get to use as it was just too cold, but I would love to stay again and enjoy it.”
