This place was a quick drive to Wrightsville where the rest of our family was staying and was significantly less than places in wrightsville. The place was super clean and extremely convenient. The big yard was a huge plus since our dogs came. Overall would recommend and stay again!”

“This was such a cute place! My wife loves the Golden Girls so I surprised her with an overnight stay for our 4yr anniversary and she absolutely loved it. Its in a great location only 5-10 mins from downtown/waterfront and in a quiet neighborhood. Brandon had great communication and even offered for us to check in early. “A wonderful ocean front property which is perfect for a relaxing beach vacation! While the house doesn’t connect directly to the beach, it is a very brief walk to the dune cross over. I love this way because it really protects the dunes which are so vital for Oak Island. The deck is excellent for ocean and bird watching and sunrise and sunset! We also had butterflies and dragonflies! It was fantastic. Any problems that arose were quickly addressed by Dee. The beds were so comfortable and……

“Responsive communications with the hosts and the property was well represented in the photos. Beautiful shared backyard space with several spots to relax in front. The hosts provided lots of great info prior to arrival on local restaurants and grocery stores. The location was excellent and only a short 2-3 minute walk to the beach. Lifeguards are posted at the beach during the summer season. The street was peaceful and quiet at all times. I would love to stay in the upstairs unit next……

“The property was clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The front porch leading to a fenced yard was perfect for our dog. Fishing pier and beach were a block and a half away, and there's a dog park 4 blocks away as well. Very convenient location for dining out. although the kitchen desired.”

“This was our 2nd time staying at Bald Head Diamond and we loved it just as much as the first time. Perfect for a two people and the walkability to everything in the marina is awesome. Very clean and comfortable and the upstairs deck has amazing views. We would have liked to have had 2 chairs on the screened porch but that was the only issue we had. ”

“We were there for three nights only, but enjoyed ourselves immensely. We had a dog with us and while needing to keep her leashed, this was also a great experience. We could cook in the house, but the nearby restaurants were wonderful.”

“It was perfect for our visit. Felt very comfortable and loved the screened in porch, had a great nap out there just listening to the breeze. Booked last minute and added an extra night we were lucky and everyone was very accommodating. Will look for availability next time we come down!”

"During our stay, the elevator was completely out of service, and we had to climb the stairs many times. In the breakfast room, one of the younger waiters had a very bad attitude and was extremely slow, except for one staff member who was fine. The air conditioner in the room was extremely loud. If you’re not a heavy sleeper, I really wouldn’t recommend staying here—you’ll feel like you’re sleeping on a train all night."
