“We had a great stay.”

“Great house - location is remote and very quiet - we had a wonderful time. We got in late our first night and the owners left the lights on for us with music playing - it was great especially after a very long travel day for all of us. The house is located in the southern area of the island which worked out well for us. It was close to Volcanoes National Park ( an hour away) and we got to see Kilauea flow! And it is only about 2 hours from Hilo and an hour from Kona. We had a great time……

“Nice house and Location. A little south of main business so you have to plan to get food, gas etc. Only down side was we we were required to take garbage to the disposal site that is close to the house on our last day but the sites closed on Fridays so we had to scramble a bit to find another location or would have been charged 50 if we left it at the house.”

“I stayed at this property to see the volcano eruption. It was perfect! This apartment has everything— the owner even provides flashlights which was a lifesaver when hiking around the crater rim trail in the dark.. I would stay again if I ever get the chance. Thank you!!”

“A nice location away from the hustle and bustle of Kona but within reach of Captain Cook and Volcanoe / Hilo areas. We enjoyed our short stay chilling on the deck and exploring the farm with short drives to 2 step snorkelling and coffee farms and cafes. Nice place to return after a long day of exploring. ”

“We love the house- hate the humidity. Of course, that is common to the whole island,,,,We had daily visits from a gecko we named Gary. At least we think it was the same little fellow; we only saw two geckos simultaneously once Plus, there's a cute little baby gecko in the bedroom who is shy and climbs around at night. The neighborhood and the driveway are all steep like San Francisco hills. There are a few spices in the kitchen and a good selection of cooking/baking equipment. At night the……

“The property was conveniently located close to National Volcano Park. The outdoor space was wonderful with ample seating and was covered. We were able to sit out in the rain by the fire pit being serenaded by the birds all night long! We would have found more info on the property helpful such as how to work the shower, where to leave the garbage etc. The only real issue were the beds they were not very comfortable. ”
