“This property was unique and we're so happy to chose to stay here.Pros: The views are incredible and the outdoor living spaces were very comfortable - in particular we spent a lot of time on the high top chairs, sofa bed, and two person dining table. The kitchen was fully stocked and operational with everything we needed. The bedroom was perfectly sized and comfortable. It was so easy to access Manini Beach (you can walk). By staying in Captain Cook you have a much more "locals" experience.……

“We had such a wonderful stay. The home is beautifully built, well maintained and we felt right at home. The host gave so many great recommendations and showed how much she cared from our arrival to departure. We highly recommend this home and stay in Volcano being so close to Kīlauea was great. “The cottage was fantastic. Had all the amenities. It was in a quiet neighborhood, with a view of a golf course, but easy driving distance to the Volcanoes National Park and the town of Volcano. We were very busy seeing the various attractions of the island, such as waterfalls, the black sand beach and South Point, and hiking in the National Park. We wished we could have spent more time at the cottage. Highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again. ”

“This is a beautiful property and very peaceful and calming. We had excellent communication with the manager who really helped us by arranging a washing machine when a prior renter had broken the machine at this cottage. Also, we forgot a ring that has much sentimental value (it got mixed up in the bedding while we were packing to leave). The housekeeper turned it in and the manager contacted us immediately to coordinate it's return. We were already on our way to another part of the island but……

“This is our second time to stay here. We loved it, and came back because it was so quiet and comfortable, and such a beautiful place and view. The yurts are well equipped and clean. The elevation makes for comfortable cool, but not cold, nights. The central sky light is spectacular at night with so many stars. It is calm and quiet and beautiful with various flowers. “Loved our stay here. It was the perfect spot a little off the beaten path that was a great home base for our adventures on the big island. Close enough to everything you need and far enough from the hoardes of tourists, with lots of little shops and spots to check out nearby. “After a disappointing Kona Condo stay, this was a delight. I enjoyed the peacefulness, sounds of the jungle, and the coziness of the cottage.
