“The cottage was fantastic. Had all the amenities. It was in a quiet neighborhood, with a view of a golf course, but easy driving distance to the Volcanoes National Park and the town of Volcano. We were very busy seeing the various attractions of the island, such as waterfalls, the black sand beach and South Point, and hiking in the National Park. We wished we could have spent more time at the cottage. Highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again. ”

“This is a beautiful property and very peaceful and calming. We had excellent communication with the manager who really helped us by arranging a washing machine when a prior renter had broken the machine at this cottage. Also, we forgot a ring that has much sentimental value (it got mixed up in the bedding while we were packing to leave). The housekeeper turned it in and the manager contacted us immediately to coordinate it's return. We were already on our way to another part of the island but……

“The host and hostess have put together a true paradise. The grounds are seemingly cared for by master gardeners, the flaura is superb. The yurts are the best sleeping environment, with natural white noise. The convenience of being away but near was excellent. My host and hostess even alerted me to the volcano episodes so I was able to see first hand Pele's fire in Kilauea Crater. I cannot wait for my next adventure here. Mahalo isn't enough. WOW! ”

“The property was in a convenient location for the volcano park and some beaches. It was quiet and a beautiful location. The only problem we had was the water pressure was not very good. ”

“We love staying in the Captain Cook area, and this property was perfect! Well appointed, comfortable home with a great lanai. The coqui frogs will serenade you in the evening, chickens will do the same in the morning, and Kiko (a very friendly dog) will stop by to say hello once or twice a day. We will definitely hope to stay here again on future trips to the Big Island.”

“Loved our stay here. It was the perfect spot a little off the beaten path that was a great home base for our adventures on the big island. Close enough to everything you need and far enough from the hoardes of tourists, with lots of little shops and spots to check out nearby. As for the space itself, it's super cozy and has an incredible ocean view from the screened in patio. Waking up to that view was one of the best parts of our trip. Would 100% stay here again.”

“Best Kona experience I’ve ever had. Go by yourself or take a friend. A wonderfully appointed clean apartment in the heart of a beautiful jungle. Spent so much time there lazing, reading. Fell asleep each night, sung to sleep by a (quiet) orchestra of wild life.. all of which stayed outside the apartment (I think I meet one mosquito, the whole week, inside the apartment). Drove out each day adventuring (beaches, volcanoes, swimming with huge turtles/manta rays). Dined each lunch at a different……

“Wonderful hospitality and great clean accommodation with good amenities. We could have spent all day just sitting on the deck with the fabulous views and listening to the glorious birdsong and nature all around us. There is comfortable indoor seating and TV but we never used it as sitting on the Lanai was so lovely. Don’t worry about aircon as there was always a cool breeze and we never even put the fan on. Heather and Adam have thought of everything from beach chairs, binoculars and cool bags……
