“Beautiful house. Really enjoyed the sounds of the rainforest. The frogs and the pheasants. The hot tub was wonderful after long hikes in volcanoes national park located only 2 miles away. The house was clean with an adorable style. Highly recommend.”

“The location was great for a visit to the National Park, and the lush surroundings were beautiful. We appreciated the pingpong table and hammock on the deck, the useable grill, and the puzzles and games. The house was clean and well appointed, but we felt that the amenities were a little skimpy. In particular, there was not much extra toilet paper or paper towel, and only a tiny bottle of dish soap. Also no extra bathtowels. The knives in the kitchen were so dull we could barely use them. ……

“The location of the house was spectacular. Lush rainforest on all sides. The house was very cozy with soft lighting, warm textiles, carpeted bedrooms and natural wood everywhere. The lanai had a rain cover which was great. ”

“Our host as very accommodating and responded to anything we needed. The daylight lower apartment is nicely set up. We could see a little view of trees and the water from the small deck with a surrounding flowering garden.We were able to make meals on the hot plate and small refrigerator provided. A microwave and coffee pot is available too. The bathroom is beautiful and the bed comfortable. It was in a neighborhood, so stores are 20 to 30 minutes away. But we appreciated the quiet and snorkling……

“We love the house- hate the humidity. Of course, that is common to the whole island,,,,We had daily visits from a gecko we named Gary. At least we think it was the same little fellow; we only saw two geckos simultaneously once Plus, there's a cute little baby gecko in the bedroom who is shy and climbs around at night. The neighborhood and the driveway are all steep like San Francisco hills. There are a few spices in the kitchen and a good selection of cooking/baking equipment. At night the……

“Anna was a perfect host. She was very welcoming and provided super helpful information, both about the easy check-in and tips for during our stay. The home was absolutely perfect for our family of five adults (us and our 3 adult kids in their 20s). Parking accommodated our two rental cars. Bathrooms and beds were just what we needed. Abundant towels. Full kitchen stocked with essentials and the grill worked great for cooking our meals (mahi mahi tacos for the win!). The large table on the patio……

“Fantastic home and location in Captain Cook. Felt like we were in a treehouse on the bay. Well appointed home and kitchen with everything you could need. Incredible views and spacious enough for 6 adults and one kid to do everything we wanted. Plenty of fans to keep the house cool and we truly had a magical stay! ”
