“We had a great time training and competing in the annual ski jumping competition at Suicide Hill. There were some freezing cold temps (-30 windchill) and we were comfortable to stay warm inside when needed. Good kitchen space, will stay again!”

“We were up for the Ore to Shore mountain bike race and this was the perfect spot for two couples. Enough room for the four of us to hang out plus had all of the accommodations needed to cook a pre-race meal. Proximity is prime as it's walking distance to everything downtown. If we do the race again (or are ever just in the area...), we'll be back!”

“This apartment is in an old house in a village near Marquette. I’m so glad we stayed there. The town is super cute and the “cowboy coffee shop” is great. The town is near Marquette so no problem getting there quickly. The apartment is very clean and tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed and more. I stayed on the couch bed and Dad got the bedroom. Both beds were comfortable. It is an old house and apparently the heat is controlled by the apartment across the hall. The owner was quick……

“The place was wonderful and reasonably priced but my back hurt. Mattresses are a personal preference thing, so the review is intended to be amazing but if you don't prefer memory foam beds, you may wish to consider a different property. PS. My daughter liked the bed.”

“This was a great spot, centrally located in Marquette. My wife and I graduated from NMU, in Marquette, and we love taking our kids back there to show them around. Easy to walk to most restaurants and shops. We typically get back to Marquette annually, and we'll likely look this house up again. Very convenient each morning walking across the street to Contrast Coffee for a good brew. Thanks for hosting us! ”

“We were bird hunting in the UP with my dog. Hosts were very nice, friendly and really wanted to make sure we were comfortable. On first impression it's a bit more civilized than our typical hunting camp. Overall, very nice, comfortable beds and furniture, we slept well after a hard day in the woods. We didn't spend any real daylight time there checking out the lake or anything. Overall, great stay. There's always a few quirks but for us it was great! Thanks”

“Centrally located and within walking distance to town (an easy walk downhill to town, with a bit of a climb back to the apartment). We were very pleased with the clean kitchen, bedding, and bathroom. While the kitchen chairs showed some wear, they were still functional, and the futon/couch has a well-loved feel. There was a slight smell of marijuana when we arrived, which could have been from a nearby unit. Overall, we had a great stay!”
