“We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful location with our family of four and our friends’ family of four. It’s very quiet and peaceful with stunning views while also being a short 10 minute drive into Kaslo. We were blown away by the amount of space in the home and outside; with decks in almost every direction. We found everything we could possibly need to make our stay comfortable and easy! ”

“Lovely property with a fabulous view! Plenty of space and rooms were well separated allowing for privacy. Found everything that we needed for a one week stay. I was worried that because it was not air conditioned we would be too hot as they were calling for temperatures in the mid 30’s. In fact it was not an issue. Lots of fans in the house and by opening up the windows each night (the windows are all screened), and then closing them during the day we were very comfortable. The owners……

“Great property. Clean and spacious. Lots of things for the kids to do. The zipline was a huge hit. Hot tub was amazing and very clean. Was right beside some incredible mountain biking. There was also a fantastic running path right down the road that dogs can run off leash. The house itself was perfect. Lots of room for the kids to play and sleep comfortably. The ping pong table was also a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again. Probably one of the best houses we have ever rented on VRBO.”

A few relatively minor “watch-outs”… The listing states there may be fees for extra guests but we were surprised that the host fee included $300 for extra guests even though the property advertises it sleeps 4, and we are a family of 4. The listing states there is a coffee maker, FYI for future guests it’s a Nespresso Virtuoso which was a pleasant surprise but would……

“Plenty of room. Great views. Fabulous private beach. Water warm enough in August for swimming.Craig gave us a recommendation for renting a boat from Jones Brothers rentals. We had a great time in a pontoon boat. They came over to Riondel marina to pick up our captain.Over the years, we have rented a out a dozen places for or gatherings. The was definitely in the top 3.”
