“Wow, Diane’s place exceeded any and all expectations for our stay. The unit below the main home was perfect for our Nelson getaway. The kitchen is large enough to get groceries and cook for the week, the biggest plus is being able to see Diane’s amazing pottery up close and personal! The small fireplace was perfect to keep the unit warm and to help dry our snowboard clothes. The bed was large, comfortable, and perfect for the end of the day. Bathroom was well equipped with shampoo, conditioner,……

“This house and property exceeded our expectations. The house isn’t visible from the road and the property is a hidden gem in the little town of Ymir. We loved staying here and the details that were put into the house and property are done with real care and intention. It was hot while we were there, but the house is well built and insulated, so even though it doesn’t have any A/C, it holds its temperature and cools off at night when the windows are open. “We needed a place to rest and recover between two backcountry ski trips and this was the perfect place. Lisa was extremely helpful and accomodating during our visit. We loved the location as we could walk to everything. It is quite uphill to get back home, but not too daunting. The old house is very comfortable and furnished for comfortable living. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking even though we mostly went out. I highly recommend this place!”

“Great property. Clean and spacious. Lots of things for the kids to do. The zipline was a huge hit. Hot tub was amazing and very clean. Was right beside some incredible mountain biking. There was also a fantastic running path right down the road that dogs can run off leash. The house itself was perfect. Lots of room for the kids to play and sleep comfortably. The ping pong table was also a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again. Probably one of the best houses we have ever rented on VRBO.”
