“Stayed 1 night as a stop off. Staff friendly and professional. The pool had been in use when we arrived and we were told we would only be able to use after 7:30pm and pool closed at 8:00pm, which was disappointing as it was one of the reasons for booking this hotel. The staff however told us we could have longer time which was lovely of them. The pool is not massive but enough to have a good swim. Continental breakfast was included in our booking and there was plenty of choice. We will……

“The domestic staff are wonderfu, very helpful, lovely people and so very kind. All the staff we were in contact with could not of been nicer. My wife had her 21st some 51 years ago at this hotel! We were both originally from Heswall. Our trip was one to help my brother in law who lives in New Brighton who has had a nasty fall booth breaks in his ankle. Thank you for your help.”

“I have stayed twice at the Talardy when my dad has been in hospital. The staff are amazing, very caring and quick to help. The first time I stayed in the main building, this time in the annex. Both are very good, and I appreciated the air con as I arrived in a heat wave. The rooms are very clean and roomy. The breakfasts are cooked fresh and very filling. After spending the day with dad I would come back and have an evening meal, again cooked fresh, plenty of choice and excellent service. I felt……

“We were a group of 10 persons, occupied 5 rooms for staying 2 nights. The hotel generally speaking is a good hotel, with clean and comfortable rooms. However, two of the rooms were found problem in water supply for bathing where only hot (very hot) water supply but no cold water for the shower. When asking for repairing service in the late night, the reply was unfavourable. Until the next morning, only one room could be fixed while the other was settled by changing another room for my friends.”
