“It worked out perfect for us. It’s secluded enough that if my dog barked, he did not disturb anybody. There’s a hiking path right next to the side so I could take my dogs for a nice long walk. Even though it was secluded, it was close enough to any place around. Shopping was only nine minutes away. Downtown Charlottesville was just a very short ride.”

“This is the perfect place for a quiet fall getaway for a couple or small family. There is absolutely NOTHING around (exactly what we wanted), so be prepared to BRING ALL FOOD with you!! There are no local stores within 20 minutes. The house itself is quaint and eclectic. The hot tub was great and we used the fire pit on our crisp evenings.(plenty of firewood provided) The river was barely seen through the trees, but we took a stroll of the property and found the water down below. “My husband and I stayed at Ghost Pine Studio for a quick weekend getaway. For a studio, the space was nicely laid out and had plenty of space for the two of us. It was nicely decorated, clean, and had everything we needed. An area of opportunity is the heating/cooling and sound. We did not have control over the heat and it was very hot in the space not allowing us to sleep well. Also, it was noisy because the walls were thin and the owners lived on the premises.
