“I only gave three stars for property condition because it was a very high step to get into the room. I am a senior citizen and had to hold onto the doorpost to lift myself up. A step should be added for SAFETY purposes.”

“We loved everything about the beautiful place, what a mansion! It was a warm welcome by the owners. The room was amazingly huge and beautiful decorated. We slept like babies under the soft linen. “I was on a motorcycle trip ... I got there mid morning ... hours ahead of check in time. I was saturated from traveling on motorcycle through mountain areas in a very heavy storm. The manager moved me to a different room to let me go in early and get out of the rain, which was very much appreciated.”

“The property is clean. The rates were good. It was very convenient to Cooperstown for the Hall of Fame Induction weekend. My husband really liked the shower amenities-- both the shower head and the Trader Joe's 3-in-1 soap. We enjoyed dinner at the Mill Pond in Jefferson. And the Fire Department had their annual fireworks display on Saturday night. Highly recommend Tandem Antiques, which is just down the street.”
