“The notes I made to refer to when we got back was - Very Nice. The room was very comfortable; staff was great. . .everything you want in a hotel. We only used the hotel for nights, as we arrived from Limerick late and then went to the Cliffs of Moher. I looked at this hotel, because all the downtown Galway Hotels referred to no parking (we had a rental), noisy, thin walled rooms. I was very happy with our choice. “Highlights: charming location and convenient to cliffs of Moher and Lahinch - great little surf town. Charming room - very well maintained. Restaurant is open late into evening when most else is closed. Food is excellent. Breakfast was hearty and good - not sure it’s worth the higher priced rooms though. Wish list: There was no AC. “Snoozles is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at - it just gets so many things right! Comfortable beds with privacy curtains, light, power socket and USB. Good showers with hooks for hanging items and shower gel provided. And finally a hostel that doesn’t charge or require a deposit for towels - fantastic! “This is our third visit to Galway. The House Hotel was a good fit for us. We like being to be able to walk around Galway. There are many shops, night spots and restaurants to dine at within walking distance. The hotel does have an elevator. Parking is relatively close and it isn't free. Breakfast was good. I prefer perked coffee and had to have Americano here. Would recommend. ”

“Lovely clean property in a quiet town close to lovely pubs. The staff was so nice and the breakfast was delicious especially the yogurt parfait with fruit and muesli. The stairway was a little difficult to navigate so be sure to ask for help as there is a door a few steps from the top.
